How Much Does a Creative Agency Cost in Qatar? (2026 Price Guide)
Real price ranges for branding, web, video, photography and marketing in Qatar — what drives the number, why quotes differ so widely, and how to budget honestly.
"How much does this cost" is the hardest question to get a straight answer to in Qatar's creative market, and the reason is structural rather than evasive. Agencies avoid publishing numbers because scope genuinely determines price, and a figure without scope attached is either meaningless or a rod for your own back.
That said, "it depends" is not an answer you can budget against. So here are real ranges, with the caveats that make them usable.
How to read everything below: these are bands observed across the Doha market in 2026, not quotes and not our rate card. They exist so you can tell whether a proposal is roughly normal, suspiciously cheap or unusually expensive — and then ask the right follow-up question. Any serious studio will scope your project before pricing it.
The market ranges by discipline
Brand identity
- Around QAR 8,000–15,000 — a mark and basic assets. Appropriate for a new business testing an idea. It is not a system and will not hold as you grow.
- Around QAR 15,000–60,000 — a genuine bilingual identity system with typography, guidelines and real applications. Where most established Qatari SMEs belong.
- QAR 60,000 and above — brand architecture, naming, sub-brand systems, research. Justified when the brand spans several business lines or a large physical estate.
Websites
- Around QAR 8,000–20,000 — a template-based brochure site, lightly customised.
- Around QAR 20,000–80,000 — a designed bilingual marketing site with custom layouts, a CMS and real content integration.
- QAR 80,000 and above — e-commerce with integrations, web applications, custom systems.
Two costs sit outside most web quotes and catch people out: content production (photography, copy, Arabic) and ongoing maintenance. More in what a website costs in Qatar.
Video production
- Around QAR 8,000–25,000 — a single-day corporate or social shoot with a small crew and a straightforward edit.
- Around QAR 25,000–60,000 — a properly crewed brand film: scripted, lit, multiple setups, colour and sound post.
- QAR 60,000 and above — commercial work with talent, multiple days and locations.
The day rate rarely decides the total — setup count, deliverable count and revision rounds do. We went through that in what video production actually costs in Qatar.
Photography
- Around QAR 2,500–6,000 — a day with a solo photographer, straightforward subject, basic retouching.
- Around QAR 6,000–18,000 — a full day with an assistant, proper lighting, styling and considered retouching.
- QAR 18,000 and above — campaign production with art direction, talent, location, hair and makeup.
Usage rights and per-image retouching frequently sit outside the day rate. More in what photography costs in Qatar.
Marketing and social retainers
- Around QAR 4,000–8,000 per month — light management where you supply most assets.
- Around QAR 8,000–20,000 per month — content production included, paid media managed, real reporting.
- QAR 20,000 and above per month — multi-channel, bilingual streams, regular production, dedicated account team.
Ad spend sits on top of all of these and should never be bundled into the management fee. More in what a marketing retainer costs in Qatar.
Why two quotes for the same brief differ so much
Clients routinely receive proposals that differ by a factor of four and assume the gap is margin, or that someone is trying it on. Occasionally true. Far more often, the gap is scope nobody wrote down.
The variables that explain most of it:
- Is content production included? This is the single biggest one. A website or campaign proposal that quietly assumes you supply the photography, video and copy is not cheaper than one that includes them — it is incomplete, and the work still has to happen. You will pay for it, later, under time pressure.
- Is Arabic designed or translated? Drawing an Arabic wordmark and having a native reader review bilingual layouts is real design work. Running text through translation is not. These cost differently because they are different things.
- How many deliverables, actually counted? One video in a 16:9 master, a 9:16 vertical, a 15-second cut and an Arabic-subtitled version is four deliverables. Proposals that say "one video" and proposals that itemise four are not comparable.
- How many revision rounds? Unbounded revisions inside a fixed fee means someone eventually stops trying, and you will feel it in round three.
- Who actually does the work? Senior people pitching and junior people executing is the most common structural gap in this market, and it shows up as a lower price.
Before comparing any two numbers, make both proposals answer those five questions. Frequently the cheaper one stops being cheaper.
What Creative Loft costs
Since this page is about being straight with numbers, here is ours.
Most of our work falls between QAR 5,000 and QAR 20,000 — for a defined project such as a brand identity, a website or a video, and per month for an ongoing retainer.
Where a given project lands inside that range depends on scope, not on a rate card. The things that move it are the same ones listed above: how much original production is involved, whether the work is bilingual, how many deliverables you need, and how many disciplines the project spans.
Two honest observations about that range. It sits deliberately below the network offices, because we are a studio in Lusail rather than a holding-company office and our overheads reflect that. And it sits above the cheapest end of the market, because production is genuinely included in what we quote — the photography, the video, the copy — rather than assumed to be your problem and invoiced later.
What we will not do is price your project from a paragraph. Anyone who can is pricing a template, and that includes us if we tried. We scope first, then quote, and we would rather tell you a project does not need us than sell you a range you did not need.
How to budget without a quote
If you are building a business case before you have proposals:
- Budget content separately and generously. Photography, video and copy are the lines most often forgotten and most often decisive. A well-built site with weak content converts like a template.
- Assume bilingual costs more. If you need Arabic done properly, it is design work, not a translation line.
- Add maintenance for anything ongoing. Websites need updating, backups and security. Brands need governance. Neither is a one-time purchase.
- Hold back a contingency. Around 10–15% of the project budget. Scope changes on nearly every project, usually because you learn something worth acting on.
The cheapest expensive mistake
Buying the wrong tier. A business that needs an identity system and buys a logo spends the money twice — once now, and again in eighteen months when the mark cannot be applied to a shopfront, a delivery-app tile and an Arabic contract without falling apart.
The reverse also happens, less visibly: commissioning a full brand architecture programme when a single well-executed website and a decent photography library would have moved the business further this year.
Neither error is about price level. Both are about matching the tier to the actual problem, which is why defining the outcome before the deliverable is worth more than any negotiation. If you are still shortlisting, the field guide to Doha's creative agencies covers who does what in this market.
